B.B. Comer Bridge

The B.B. Comer Bridge spans 2,143-foot long over the Tennessee River on Alabama State Route 35. The steel truss bridge was completed in 1931 and is soon being replaced by a new bridge. The bridge has been home to an eagle for many years according to local fisherman. B.B. Comer Bridge was constructed by the Alabama Bridge Company and is the last of 15 memorial toll bridges built by them.
